A Taste of Home, Baked Fresh in Texas

Stefania “Chefania” Vito grew up surrounded by the aromas, traditions, and togetherness of Argentine cooking—learning from her mom and Nonna how food could bring people together.

After over 15 years in the hospitality industry, she longed for a deeper connection—something more personal, more heartfelt. During the pandemic, she began baking empanadas as a way to share comfort and care when the world needed it most.

What started in her kitchen grew into a mission: to bring people together around a warm, baked empanada. Stefania’s Empanadas is a celebration of family, flavor, and the power of food to make us feel at home.

In 2025, Stefania took the leap to open her first permanent location in McKinney, Texas—making her dream real and bringing authentic Argentine empanadas and warmth straight to the neighborhood.

We wanted to make a place that felt like home

At Stefania’s Empanadas, our brick-and-mortar café is where the heart of our brand comes to life. It’s a place to gather, share, and experience Argentine flavors in a warm, family-like setting. More than just food, it’s about creating a home where every guest feels welcomed and connected.

Award-winning empanadas are coming to McKinney via a new spot called Stefania's Empanadas Argentine Café, opening in August on the border of McKinney and Frisco in a former doughnut shop at 1800 S. Independence Pkwy. #110.
